With the installation of a turf field it will reduce the amount of herbicides and pesticides that the school will use, which cuts down on pollution of harmful chemicals. Artificial turf does require some maintenance, including brushing, and watering but maintenance of an artificial field is less continuous and less expensive than for natural grass.
